About the piece
This piece went through a series of lives, starting as incidental music I wrote for a play back in 2002, followed by a tune for my klezmer-influenced trio Klezshop, and ending in a prolonged version in three versions for the concert hall: One for 2 violins, one for violin and cello, and one for clarinet, violin, and cello, the last one as part of the 3-movement piece Dances of Peril.
